Session Overview

The assessment sessions form the core of the ELEVATE Self Assessment Tool (SAT) platform. They allow you to measure, analyse and compare the alignment and cross-cultural maturity of employees within your Organisation.

Objective & Context

ELEVATE is based on the methodology of the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT). This tool assesses the maturity of teams through three analytical dimensions (Purpose, Process and Practice) broken down according to three stages of maturity (Recognise, Connect and Leverage).

Each question offers participants three distinct answer choices, labeled A, B and C, which reflect this progression:

  • The choice A corresponds to the initial level of maturity, characterised by informal, reactive practices or a simple passive awareness.
  • The choice B represents an intermediate level of maturity, marked by the establishment of common structures, shared habits and active connections.
  • The choice C embodies the most advanced level of maturity, based on continuous optimisation, strategic integration and active leveraging of differences to maximize collective impact.

Here is a visual overview of the three answer blocks as they appear during the assessment:

Each session brings together a group of collaborators (whether or not they belong to specific teams) to answer this structured evaluation questionnaire under the supervision of a facilitator.

Session Procedure

The lifecycle of an assessment session follows four main stages:

  1. Configuration & Launch: A Manager or Owner configures the criteria (target teams, question presets, timer, language) and starts the session from the administration panel.
  2. The Connection: Participants join the active session by scanning a QR Code projected by the facilitator or via a direct access link sent by the Organisation.
  3. The Filling In: Participants answer questions on their device according to the voting flow dictated by the facilitator, accompanied by visual support.
  4. Closing & Analysis: Once the responses have been collected, the facilitator closes the session. Confidential individual reports are generated for the participants, and the consolidated anonymous scores become available to administrators in the history and comparative analysis tools.

The Voting Phase System

Each question in the questionnaire takes place in two successive phases, facilitated by the session leader:

  • Phase 1 (Initial Vote): The question is presented to the group. Participants read the statement and individually submit their first answer on their device.
  • Phase 2 (Discussion and Revision): The facilitator initiates the next phase to encourage the exchange and alignment of viewpoints. Depending on the display configuration chosen for the session, this phase offers respondents the opportunity to either revise and modify their initial vote (in the case of a layout with the statement displayed immediately), or to submit their single choice after the answer options have been revealed (in the case of a layout focused on the question first).
